NBC was the top non-sports choice among the Big 4 networks Saturday night in adults 18-49 and total viewers, with 'Dateline SaturdayNight Mystery” the #1 non-sports primetime telecast on those nets in total viewers and the 10 p.m. “Saturday Night Live” encore the #1 primetime show, excluding sports, on the Big 4 in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

According to Classicalite, Marxfest, the first New York Marx Brothers Festival, will be reviving a Marx Brothers musical that hasn't been seen in 90 years. Groucho, Chico, Harppo, and Zeppo got their start in the Broadway stage- it wasn't until later than they became screen stars. And, while many of their stage skits have been recorded, their 1924 Broadway debut was never filmed and never revived.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Garfield will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 3rd. The night will also feature the band Coldplay, who will be making their fifth appearance on the show.

In a video posted by the Associated Press, Conan O'Brien endorsed Stephen Colbert for CBS' Late Show. Colbert will be replacing David Letterman, who announced earlier that he is retiring from late night television. In the video, Conan stated, 'I wasn't up for it. I'm very happy where I am. But I love Stephen. Stephen is great. I'm a huge fan of his as a comic and a human being. I think it's fantastic and I'm really glad he got the job, and I look forward to seeing his show. It's going to be fantastic.'

As previously announced, James Cameron is working on three sequels for Avatar, which hit the big screen in 2009. On Reddit, Cameron offered an update on his progress. He wrote, 'The second, third and fourth films all go into production simultaneously. They're essentially all in preproduction now, because we are designing creatures, settings, and characters that span all three films. And we should be finished with all three scripts within the next, I would say, six weeks.'

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written byWoody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film opened Thursday night at the St. James Theatre. According to Entertainment Weekly, director Bryan Singer and producer/writer Simon Kinberg are already planning the next X-Men movie even though X-Men: Days of Future Past has yet to hit the big screen. They are already working with writers Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty on developing a new movie based on the 1990 comic storyline Age of Apocalypse, which involves alternate realities.

L+7 Time-Shifting: The March 21 “Grimm” grew in 18-49 rating by 70% in L+7 (2.64 vs. 1.55).

It was the top “SVU” since Feb. 26 (2.0 in 18-49, 7.782 million viewers overall) in 18-49 and total viewers and equals the highest-rated “SVU” in 18-49 since Jan. 8 (2.1). L+7 Time-Shifting: The March 19 “Law & Order: SVU” increased in 18-49 by 71% in L+7 (2.63 vs. 1.54).

The Lake Worth Playhouse resumes it's Black Box Series with 4000 Miles a new, award winning drama from Pulitzer by Amy Herzog.

The Realistic Joneses opens tonight, April 6, on Broadway at the Lycuem Theatre (149 W 45th Street). This new American play comes to Broadway after a critically-acclaimed run at the Yale Repertory Theatre in 2012.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” grew by +83% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.6), +78% in adults 25-54 (to a 1.6 rating from a 0.9) and +54% or more than 2.0 million persons in total viewers (5.8 million vs. 3.7 million).

According to ComingSoon, Warner Bros. has now put the film 'on the fast track.' There aren't many details available, but it appears that they are still waiting for Spielberg to sign on. The movie will not be remade without him on the team.
