Dialogue with Three Chords Present Three New Plays, 3/27March 23, 2014Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) presents new works that find characters at the start of the Great Depression, at the end of WWII, and sometime between the Easter Offensive and the Paris Peace Talks. The three brand new works revisit characters introduced in previous D3C performances, but also function as stand-alone pieces. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto these plays are a continuation 'Shipyard Souls & A Compass Rose," a full-length play presented in installments which began last August. The serialized works are presented as part of their residency at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street in Greenwich Village. The performance begins at 8pm on Thursday, March 27. Admission is free, with a $3 suggested donation.

STAGE TUBE: Check Out Clips from Dallas Theatre Center's THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDEMarch 22, 2014Dallas Theater Center is currently running the world premiere new musical The Fortress of Solitude, a co-production with The Public Theater in New York City. It began previews on March 7 and will continue to run through April 6. The Fortress of Solitude is based on the nationally best-selling novel of the same name by 2005 MacArthur Fellow Jonathan Lethem. The musical is conceived and directed by Daniel Aukin, with a book by Itamar Moses, and music and lyrics by Michael Friedman.

In the time period, “Dateline” ranked #2 among the Big 4 nets in most key measures and tied for #1 in women 18-49 and women 25-54.
