'Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” (0.8/3 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) was the #1 non-sports telecast in the time period among ABC, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and all other key measures and was #1 in women 25-54 ahead of those nets and CBS's basketball coverage.

Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) presents new works that find characters at the start of the Great Depression, at the end of WWII, and sometime between the Easter Offensive and the Paris Peace Talks. The three brand new works revisit characters introduced in previous D3C performances, but also function as stand-alone pieces. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto these plays are a continuation 'Shipyard Souls & A Compass Rose," a full-length play presented in installments which began last August. The serialized works are presented as part of their residency at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street in Greenwich Village. The performance begins at 8pm on Thursday, March 27. Admission is free, with a $3 suggested donation.

25 year old Sister Cristina Scuccia wowed the audience and judges of Italy's The Voice with her rendition of No One by Alicia Keys. Dallas Theater Center is currently running the world premiere new musical The Fortress of Solitude, a co-production with The Public Theater in New York City. It began previews on March 7 and will continue to run through April 6. The Fortress of Solitude is based on the nationally best-selling novel of the same name by 2005 MacArthur Fellow Jonathan Lethem. The musical is conceived and directed by Daniel Aukin, with a book by Itamar Moses, and music and lyrics by Michael Friedman.

“Dateline NBC” (1.4/5 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 among the Big 4 nets in the time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, adults 18-34, total viewers and all key adult-female demos. “Dateline” grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key measures, including gains of 25% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.5 rating from a 1.2), 22% in adults 25-54 (2.2 vs. 1.8) and 27% in women 25-54 (2.8 vs. 2.2).

Heathers: The Musical is based on the 1980s cult classic and was written and composed by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe. It is also directed by Andy Fickman. Heathers will officially open at New Stages Theatre on March 31. Check out below to see their new commercial!

NBC tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in 18-49 Saturday night, with “Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” leading the 8-10 p.m. time period among those networks and a 10 p.m. encore “Believe” ranking #2 in that slot.

“Dateline NBC” (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its second in most key measures, including gains of 30% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.0), 20% in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5) and 21% in women 25-54 (2.3 vs. 1.9). In the time period, “Dateline” ranked #2 among the Big 4 nets in most key measures and tied for #1 in women 18-49 and women 25-54.

CBS has announced that the series finale of its Emmy Award-winning show How I Met Your Mother will be airing March 31 at 8pm EST. It will be an hour long special titled “Last Forever Parts One and Two.” According to press notes, Ted, the main character, will finish telling his children the story of how he and their mother met.

At a special event yesterday, March 5, the cast of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder announced that the production has reached the 1,000th death of its leading man, Jefferson Mays, since opening at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Mays' character dies eight times in each performance; and so, he has reached 1,000 stage deaths faster than any other Broadway actor.
