During the first complete week of 2011, ABC's claimed 4 of TV's Top 10 biggest actual DVR Adult 18-49 gainers from the first-reported numbers to the playback finals, as 'Modern Family' topped the chart with record-setting 1.7 rating point jump over its initial number (+35% - 4.8 rating to a 6.5 rating): 'Modern Family' - #1 (+1.7 rating), 'Grey's Anatomy' - #2 (+1.3 rating), 'Private Practice' - #4 (+1.0 rating) and 'Desperate Housewives' - #7 (+0.9 rating). In fact Modern Family's 1.7 rating point build for the week was the highest for any TV series this season.
Current TV announced it will begin production on 'Bar Karma,' the world's first community developed television series, today, Monday, January 24, at the newly-constructed Ironbound Film Studios in Newark, NJ. Filming for the series will run through the end of March 2011.
