The Grand Theatre will hold auditions for 'Urinetown' on Saturday, March 5th from 10: 00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Grand Theatre Rehearsal Hall (Room W226) on the 2nd floor located at 1575 South State Street in Salt Lake City. All roles are open, and The Grand Theatre is seeking adults 18 and older.

Broadway In Chicago and the company of WORKING are pleased to announce their 'Local Heroes' program, created to honor and complement the new musical WORKING, which begins previews February 15, 2011, at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. WORKING will honor Chicago's own through post-show conversations about who they are, what they do in life and how they make a difference. These conversations will include fascinating professions from doctors to firemen, to waitresses, assistants and sanitation workers and professions from every spectrum of our lives along with cast members of WORKING.

Red Branch Theatre Company, the professional theatre company in residence at Drama Learning Center, is pleased to present their first show of the 2011 season. Into the Woods will run March 25-April 9. Tickets will go on sale February 15th.

Civic Theatre of Allentown will hold auditions for its May 2011 production of Kander & Ebb's iconic musical 'Cabaret' at 7 pm on Monday, February 28, 2011. Auditions will be in the rehearsal hall above Civic's Nineteenth Street Theatre at 527 N 19th Street in Allentown. If necessary, callbacks will be held on Tuesday, February 29, 2011. Alternate audition times will not be available.

Seattle's Intiman Theatre is currently going though hard times, as it is now calling for the support of the public in order to solve its financial issues. The theatre, which is currently $1 million in debt, is attemping to raise $500,000 by April, and a second $500,000 by September. As of November the theatre's debt stood at $2.3 million. Since then, over $800,000 has been raised.
