Johnny Galecki has been announced as a new cast member of HBO's Entourage, according to a report on Deadline.com.

ABC President Paul Lee spoke with reporters in more detail about the announced WICKED miniseries. 'It's epic, it's romantic, and it's very much within our brand,' he said. 'We're in the development stage. I don't know if we're going to get there, but the notion of having it resonate elsewhere in the company [is] a very good thing for us.'

On Saturday, January 15 Sideshow Theatre Company will be holding a fundraising event to benefit Sideshow and the Howard Brown Health Centers of Chicago. Howard Brown Health Center is one of the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) healthcare organizations, and is in danger of closing.

New York and Boston theatre scenes mash up this New Year to bring the best of both worlds to the Boston stage. Boston's Happy Medium Theatre (HMT) and New York theatre veterans, Jared Culverhouse and Darcie Champagne, are offering a one-day audition workshop, 'Booking the Gig,' which will allow actors to explore and improve technique within a variety of audition situations. The workshop will take place in Boston on January 15th from 12p.m. - 4p.m. The cost to attend is $100 per actor.

Delighting audiences for more than 50 years, the acclaimed singers and international ambassadors of the Soldiers' Chorus of the United States Army Field Band will join the Columbus Symphony for an evening of American standards and patriotic favorites. The program includes several Gershwin and Copland tunes, as well as 'Sea to Shining Sea,' 'Let Freedom Ring,' 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic,' and many more.

Lorna Simpson: Gathered presents photographic and other works that explore the artist's interest in the interplay between fact and fiction, identity, and history. Through works that incorporate hundreds of original and found vintage photographs of African Americans that she collected from eBay and flea markets, Simpson undermines the assumption that archival materials are objective documents of history. The exhibition will be open to the public January 28 through August 21, 2011.

Eric Rosen, artistic director of Kansas City Repertory Theatre, is extending a special invitation to veterans and military on active duty to attend a free performance of one of the most important plays of the decade, Marc Wolf's powerful Another American: Asking and Telling, which examines the military's recently-repealed 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.'

Since first bursting onto the scene in the early 1980s with his unique adaptation of the language of Old Master painting, George Condo has created one of the most adventurous, imaginative, and provocative bodies of work in contemporary art. Condo's work has been deeply influential to two generations of American and European painters, who have felt the impact of the artist's astonishing technical ability, stylistic versatility, and inventive subject matter. This January, the New Museum will present 'George Condo: Mental States,' the first major US survey of over eighty paintings and sculptures from the past twenty-eight years of the artist's career. Condo is famously prolific, and this tightly edited selection of works from 1982 to the present responds to his prodigious output with a unique conceptual approach. The exhibition is organized thematically and stylistically in 'chapters' developed in close collaboration with the artist. Highlighting the breadth of Condo's artistic exploration, the exhibition will focus on the specific ideas to which he has returned throughout his career, particularly his ongoing investigation of human physiognomy and its capacity to convey varied 'mental states.'
