Cannonball Productions is bringing its highly acclaimed, nationally-touring Bacon and Beer Classic back to the Big Apple on Saturday, September 29th.The Classic is known for taking over entire professional sports stadiums, and this year, they're bringing the festival to USTA National Tennis Center in Queens, NY. The Bacon and Beer Classic offers attendees a uniquely all-inclusive experience at a truly epic tasting event. Play giant Jenga, bob for bacon, and pose with friends on the court, all while indulging in unlimited suds and grub.
From savory to spicy to sweet, ticket holders will experience bacon like never before. Over 50 NYC restaurants including-Clinton Hall, American Cut, BarBacon, Queens Bully, In Good Company Hospitality and Sweet Chili-- will serve up their most original bacon dishes. Past dishes have included Green Chile Pimento Grilled Cheese with Bacon and Jalapeno Slaw, Mesquite Chicken and Bacon Fajitas, and Bacon Cinnamon Rolls with Stout Icing. Wash down that tasty grub with samples of over 50 craft beers from local and regional breweries including Wartega, Avery, Port Jeff and Downeast Cider House. And learn how to make your own beer at home with a Home Brewing Demo!
This Bacon and Beer Classic will be the largest one yet, offering attendees a slew of new games and activations in addition to old favorites. In between bites and sips, guests will be able to let loose and dance to live music, party in a biergarten, and of course compete in the Hormel® bacon eating contest for the chance to win a year of free Black Label® bacon.
As always, tickets are all-inclusive, which means guests can sample bacon and beer throughout the center without ever taking out their wallets. Choose from three ticket types: General Admission, Power Hour, or VIP. General Admission tickets begin at $69 and span to $135 for the Afternoon VIP session. Limited Pre-Sale tickets will range in price from $59 for GA to $125 for VIP. There will be two sessions, afternoon from 1pm - 4pm and evening from 7pm - 10pm. VIP and Power Hour ticket holders will get to enter the USTA National Tennis Center an hour early through an expedited line. VIPs also enjoy access to a Premium Show Court and Arthur Ashe Stadium for courtside photo opps, three exclusive dishes not featured anywhere else, limited-edition craft beer, stadium seating, a donut wall, a pork belly tasting and more.
