National tour: Simba in The Lion King. Off-Broadway: Rent and The Scottsboro Boys (Lucille Lortel, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations). City Center Encores!: Cotton Club Parade with Wynton Marsalis and House of Flowers. Regional: the title role inRay Charles Live! (Pasadena Playhouse) and Far From Heaven(Williamstown Theatre Festival). Television: "One Life to Live," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "The Good Wife," and Quincy Jones's "America's Millennium." A graduate of Columbia University, Dixon is the recipient of Columbia University's I.A.L. Diamond Award, the NFAA First Level Award, and was a Presidential Scholar semifinalist.
The American Theatre Wing's 70th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony Award winner James Corden, will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
