Bar of the Week: BIRDS & BUBBLES in NYC on the LES

Visit Birds & Bubbles, our "Bar of the Week." This spot is a true celebration of food and champagne. The delicious, Southern inspired cuisine is by renowned chef, Sarah Simmons. It is complemented by the wonderfully curated beverage program by Service Director, Ariel Arce. This stylish spot is located on Forsyth Street on the Lower East Side, just a few blocks from the Grand Street Station.

The cozy downstairs bar area opens into an intimate dining space. In fair weather, Birds & Bubbles also has a generous patio for additional seating and special events.

The Birds & Bubbles cocktail menu has been created in collaboration with Christian Sanders of Evelyn Drinkery. These creative, delightful mixes have a real Southern connection or pay homage to the history of champagne.

Servers are happy to help you pair drinks with food. And there are a variety of price points to choose from when ordering a full bottle for your table. The menu has "Champagne on the Lighter Side," "Champagne with Body," "Champagne with Curves," and "So Vintage" as well as sparkling and still wines. You will soon discover that champagne is more than a celebratory drink. It is perfect to sip with your favorite cuisine, enjoy with a sweet treat, or have as an aperitif.

Chef Sarah Simmons' menu changes seasonally to reflect the freshest ingredients. We enjoyed some of her outstanding specialties like the Deviled Eggs with sriracha flakes, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Crispy Potato Salad that were all accompanied by our favorite bubbly.
