Drexler's on the Lower East Side brings live music, classic cocktails, and shareable breakfast bites, all designed to cure whatever ails you from the night before in it's own version of Louisiana-style brunch. Every Saturday and Sunday, you can count on this local favorite for the ultimate brunch experience making it a no brainer to roll out of bed and ease you into the day.
The location will be hosting live music with bands such as Hot Hand Trio, Sweet Megg, and The Wayfarers playing classic jazz or blue grass. The band of the day will be playing two sets (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) from the doorway, honoring a longtime NOLA tradition of playing for both the crowd and the street.
Always a forward thinking cocktail establishment, Drexler's will introduce a Mediterranean Bloody Mary garnished with coppa calabrese, mozzarella and cherry tomato. The additional of a daytime specific cocktail menu includes offerings such as the traditional Bloody Mary, classic mimosa and a "beermosa" served using the pilsner brewed uniquely for Drexler's from Brookyn-based KelSo Brewery.
As for grub, Black Seed Bagels and cream cheese will be served with Catsmo lox, on Drexler's signature shareable butcher blocks. In a nod to the Bayou inspiration seen throughout the location, the team has partnered with Louisiana transplants, The Gumbo Bros, because no Big Easy brunch is complete without a signature gumbo.
Whether you are looking for a hangover helper or starter, Drexler's is the ideal neighborhood watering hole for a casual, boozy, and NOLA music filled experience. Already a favorite among locals, it aims to provide creative cocktails and large format dishes to their patrons by collaborating with brands such as Black Seed Bagels and The Gumbo Bros.
