Join up with New York City's premiere sailing company Manhattan By Sail, on Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th to watch America's Cup onboard the schooner Clipper City. During these two historic days, six teams will compete in the New York leg of the America's Cup. Enjoy the best view possible onboard the Clipper City Tall Ship and cheer on Oracle Team USA as they defend the 35th America's Cup.

Viewing will take place aboard the 158-foot schooner with an 11:30pm departure from Battery Park, Slip 2, returning at 4:00pm. Lower Manhattan will provide an exciting backdrop to watch the teams as they compete against each other in the harbor in a fleet racing format between 1:00pm and 3:30pm. The Clipper City will have her sails down during the race.

Onboard, you will be able to watch the world's best sailors navigate some of the fastest sailboats in an impressive race. They are competing for points that count towards the final sail in Bermuda in 2017, where a champion will be crowned. Enjoy Clipper City's premium open bar with specialty cocktails along with a BBQ buffet menu including filet mignon sliders, southern fried chicken, sweet Italian sausage, grilled flank steak platter, and much more.

About Manhattan By Sail:

Manhattan By Sail is New York City's premier sailing company. Manhattan by Sail provides a wide range of public tours and private events throughout each season, serving over 60,000 customers per year. Tom Berton founded Manhattan By Sail in 2001 as a result of his love for recreational sailing and his recognition of the full potential that New York's waterfront had to offer.

About Clipper City:

The newest and biggest addition to the fleet, the topsail schooner Clipper City, is a 158-foot long sailboat with masts and rigging reaching up 120-feet from the deck. A replica of the lumber-hauling schooners that drove America's industry more than a century ago, Clipper City was built in the mid-1980's using plans purchased from the Smithsonian. Designed with her new cargo in mind, her decks are spacious and comfortable, with ample seating, a full bar amidships and a raised quarterdeck that allows for unparalleled views of the harbor.

Tickets for this exciting event are $300 per person and can be purchased at www.ManhattanBySail.com.
