The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), presents Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie in February 2013, to be directed by Tony Award-winning director John Tiffany. Multiple Tony and Emmy Award winner Cherry Jones returns to the A.R.T. to play Amanda Wingfield, and will be joined by Zachary Quinto as Tom, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as the Gentleman Caller. The Tony Award-winning design team includes set and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, and sound by Clive Goodwin. STAGE TUBE: Walnut Street Theatre's THE MUSIC MAN - Highlights!

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 204th season with an all-new production of Broadway's five-time Tony Award-winning family musical, Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. Directed and choreographed by Marc Robin, this production will feature Philadelphia's very own Jeffrey Coon and Broadway's Jennifer Hope Wills. The cast also includes a live horse that will pull the Wells Fargo Wagon in the first act. THE MUSIC MAN runs now through January 6th on the WST Mainstage. STAGE TUBE: On This Day 11/26- PETER PAN

Today in 1991, the second Broadway revival of Peter Pan opened at the MInskoff Theatre, where it ran for 48 performances. Peter Pan is a musical adaptation of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan and Barrie's own novelization of it, Peter and Wendy. The music is mostly by Mark 'Moose' Charlap, with additional music by Jule Styne, and most of the lyrics were written by Carolyn Leigh, with additional lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The original 1954 Broadway production, starring Mary Martin as Peter and Cyril Ritchard as Captain Hook, earned Tony Awards for both stars. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: Outtakes from the PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Promo Shoot!

Directed by TonyŽ Award-winner Roger Rees and TonyŽ Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher began performances on Wednesday, March 28, with an official opening night on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Tickets are now on sale through January 6, 2013. The production recently took home five TonyŽ Awards, the most of any play this season, including Best Scenic Design (Donyale Werle), Best Lighting Design (Jeff Croiter), Best Costume Design (Paloma Young), and Best Sound Design (Darron L West). STAGE TUBE: Sneak Peek of FINDING NEVERLAND- 'Blink of an Eye'

Julian Ovenden and Rosalie Craig star in a new musical version of the film Finding Neverland, which starred Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. The musical features Ovenden as Barrie, a role he played in two London workshops last winter, and Craig as Sylvia. The show will have a four to five week run scheduled at the Curve Theatre in Leicester. Performances will run through October 18, 2012. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: Opening Night Highlights - THE KING AND I at The Muny!

The Muny presents the seventh and final show of its 94th season, The King and I, now through August 12, directed by Rob Ruggiero and choreographed by Ralph Perkins. Kevin Gray, playing The King of Siam, returns to The Muny after previously playing the Engineer in Miss Saigon (2001). Making her Muny debut as Anna Leonowens is Laura Michelle Kelly.
