The casts for both shows represent a gathering of some of the finest exponents of McPherson's work and the back to back productions will allow audiences to see his latest work alongside his recognised masterpiece. UPDATE: Ed Asner 'Fine' After Being Hospitalized During Performance of FDR; Son Releases Statementby BWW News Desk - Mar 13, 2013According to TMZ, Ed Asner, who most recently appeard on Broadway in GRACE, was taken to the hospital yesterday in Gary, Indiana during a performance of FDR. The 83-year-old, was 15 minutes into the one-man play when crew members helped him off stage, noticing that he was having trouble with his lines. There is no word yet on his current health status. His Off-Broadway credits include The Last Five Years (Jamie), Songs for a New World (Lead Male 2), Saved (Fred), and Juno and the Paycock (Jerry Devine).
