The producers of the Tony Award Nominated Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN announced yesterday, August 9, that the show will play its final performance on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at The Neil Simon Theatre, 250 W. 52nd Street. The musical will have played 32 preview and 170 regular performances. The first national tour will launch in the Fall of 2012 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI. New York City saw a different side of its typically conservative Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, when he donned extensions and hippie garb on stage with Broadway's cast of Hair at the Inner Circle fundraiser dinner on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at The Hilton Hotel. Yesterday, February 16, Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of The Public Theater, and HAIR director Diane Paulus proudly introduced the new Tribe of America's favorite Tribal Love-Rock Musical to the press. The new Tribe will debut on Tuesday, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, as the current cast takes the production to the West End, opening April 14 at London's Gilegud Theatre.
