Review: SIX: THE MUSICAL at Dr. Phillips Center For The Performing Arts
by Albert Gutierrez - Jun 4, 2026
Four years after first seeing SIX, I still remain impressed by how well the musical continues to work. What initially seemed like a clever gimmick – a pop concert starring the six wives of Henry VIII – has instead proven itself to be one of the most inventive pieces of musical theatre of the last decade.
REVIEW: Radical Royals Dazzle in SIX at the Fabulous Fox Theatre
by Amanda Theriot-Greenwell - May 3, 2026
Take six insanely talented songstresses, a four-piece all-female band, an intricate LED-based set piece, some glow-in-the-dark glasses and studded platform boots, and what have you got? Surely not a historical recreation of the tale of Henry VIII and his six infamous wives. Yet that is exactly what is going down at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta this week, thanks to Broadway in Atlanta’s touring production of Six the Musical, written by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow.
Review: SIX at Broadway At The Hobby Center
by Jonathan Netek - Apr 8, 2026
From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the 6 wives of Henry VIII take the mic and remix 500 years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st-century HERstory.
Review: SIX at ASU Gammage
by Herbert Paine - Mar 18, 2026
What’s more satisfying than watching six wronged women reclaim their power? Watching them do it in rhinestone corsets, backed by a thunderous girl band and enough LED lighting to short-circuit Times Square. SIX, the British import that’s barreled from university revue to Broadway headliner like a sugar-rushed Spice Girls revival, is a history class... if the lessons were taught in stilettos and unapologetic girl-group glory.

by DC Felton - Jan 16, 2026
Every once in a while, a show finds its own path. The US national tour of 'Six' is making its second stop in Des Moines this week at Des Moines Performing Arts, and almost 10 years later, the show still has the same level of excitement it did then.

Review: SIX at Broadway San Diego
by ErinMarie Reiter - Dec 31, 2025
“SIX” feels like a New Year’s resolution set to a killer beat: ditch the old hierarchies, turn up the volume, and let the queens run the show. All hail, indeed.

Winner of 26 awards in the 2021/2022 Broadway season, including the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, SIX is the story of the six wives of Henry VIII who reclaim their identities in the shadow of their infamous spouse. With bright, bold costumes and fire in their soul, think CHICAGO meets Spice Girls in this nonstop powerhouse musical.
