Conversations We Never Had, As People We'll Never Be at The Cockpit

What if the opposite of remembering isn’t forgetting?
Have you ever wondered what your life would look like without the memory of the person who changed the way you see the world? Gina and Frankie are given thirty minutes to decide whether or not to erase their relationship from their memories forever. In this queer love story, experience a cathartic exploration of human relationships and find yourself questioning: If you got the chance to erase ‘that’ person from your life, would you take it?

India Dillon (she/they) is a Director and Writer based in London. They recently graduated with a 1st class Masters degree in Directing from East 15. Alongside their role as Resident Director at Orange Moon, they recently worked as the Assistant Director of Winner’s Curse at The Park Theatre. India brings individuality, ingenuity and talent to each and every piece she directs and OMTC are incredibly excited to have her on board for the 2025 run of Conversations. “Dillon maintains a solid creative vision throughout…funny, raw and incredibly touching” EdFringe Review.

Lucy Harris (she/her) is a Scottish Actor/ Writer based in London and the Founder/ Producer/Artistic Director of Orange Moon Theatre Co. In 2022, she received a 1st class Masters degree in Acting (with Distinction) from The Guildford School of Acting. She founded Orange Moon during her time there and has since facilitated various workshops and events. The following year she wrote her debut play Conversations We Never Had, As People We’ll Never Be and took it to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023/2024 and had a successful, sellout run on both occasions. Lucy has also recently begun her studies at the University of Cambridge on the Mst Writing for Performance course.

Siobhán Cassidy (she/her) is a Manchester born Actor based in London. She has recently completed her training at East 15 on the BA Acting course. Her most recent work includes playing Martha in a run of Philip Ridley’s new play, Copper Beeches, directed by Max Harrison. Siobhán joined Orange Moon for their 2024 run of Conversations and was described as "engaging and fun-to-watch throughout" (Broadway World.) Orange Moon are incredibly excited to have Siobhán on board for the London run and cannot wait for you to see her take on the role.

Orange Moon believes that even the most gut-wrenching themes can be told with humour, harshness and honesty. Conversations is a prime example of this, the “exquisite script” (Fringe Biscuit) is “effortless in its power to move most anyone who has ever been in love.” (Hot Ticket) This isn’t just a play about queerness. It’s about love and what it means to be human and everyone is welcome.
