Turkish-born vioilinist Deniz Sensoy currently studies with Alexander Gilman at the Royal College of Music, where she receives the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Scholarship.
Deniz has performed Mendelssohn’s Violin concerto with the RCM Symphony Orchestra in a masterclass with the world-renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov. At this special event she played a violin made by Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesù in 1732. She also performed with Vengerov for the celebration of his 40-year career last year at the Royal Albert Hall.
Throughout her career, Deniz has had the chance to work with renowned violinists such as Midori Goto, Kolja Blacher, Dora Schwarzberg, Alexander Markov, Mincho Minchev, Igor Ozim, Andrej Bielow, Stefan Milenkovich and Esther Yoo.
