EDINBURGH 2018: BWW Q&A- Alice Sneddon Image

BWW catches up with Alice Sneddon to chat about bringing Self-Titled to the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Tell us a little bit about Self-Titled.

The show is called 'Self-Titled', so at the very least it'll deliver on what it promises. I talk about my family a lot, they're a strange mix of super liberal and devoutly religious. I would say the show is more the result of them, rather than inspired by them.

How has reception for the show been so far?

Amazing to my face, what have they been saying behind my back?

What sets Self-Titled apart from other shows at the festival?

It's the only show with me in it. Thus, it is completely unique and you will literally find no other show like it in the festival.

Where else might we know you from?

If you live in NZ, you might have seen me on the TV! Or in the newspaper! If you don't live in NZ, then the street, your dreams, possibly even your nightmares, or maybe my podcast with Rose Matafeo (Boners of the Heart) or the internet, go check me out!

Who would you recommend comes to see Self Titled?

Men and women aged born to dead.

More specifically, women aged 18-60. But also men. Hopefully people who love to laugh, and love me making them laugh. That'd be the dream.

See Alice Snedden: Self Titled at the Pleasance Courtyard throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 1st - 26th August. For tickets visit www.edfringe.com
