McLean, VA – January 2, 2025 – Prepare for a night of non-stop laughter, quick wit, and unforgettable moments as the highly anticipated Improvicon returns to center stage at The Alden Theatre on January 25, 2025. Featuring top local improv groups, this one-night-only event promises a high-energy battle of comedic timing, creativity, and audience participation that will have you in cracking up from start to finish.
Improvicon will showcase some of the DMV's most talented improvisational comedians, each team bringing their best unscripted performances to the stage. Teams will be challenged with bizarre scenarios, wild prompts, and surprising twists that only true improvisers can handle. The audience will play a crucial role, giving suggestions and voting for their favorite performances and influencing the direction of the show throughout the night.
Host Jack Reda will orchestrate a surefire evening of fun, featuring: Reigning champions Porkchop Volcano, FOOLS! Improv Comedy, Home Improv Mints, Calamity, (the) Unruly Theatre Project, Pundemics, Intrusive Thotties, and Improvicon newcomers Mason Improv Association and The Improper Imps.
Expect an array of hilarious games, group improvisations, and spontaneous comedy that will keep you guessing until the very end. From rapid-fire games to emotional monologues, no two moments will be alike. Whether you’re a long-time fan of improv or a newcomer to the art form, this event is guaranteed to leave you rolling in the aisles.

The event is open to all ages, but recommended for ages 12+, and tickets are now available for purchase at https://mcleancenter.org/events/improvicon-of-northern-virginia-6/. Be sure to grab your tickets early as this show is expected to sell out quickly. The doors open at 6:30pm, with the performance starting at 7:00pm.
