strangers find themselves stuck on a remote island with a murderous maniac picking them off one by one, and each potential victim is also a suspect. Agatha Christie's classic And Then There Were None opens Friday February 9th at the Farmington Players Barn Theater, and runs through February 25th. Tickets are available at farmingtonplayers.org or at the box office, (248) 553-2955.

The sleight-of-hand murder mystery, penned first as a best-selling novel, is considered a masterpiece of the "whodunit" genre. The stage play has been called a "paranoid pressure cooker," as the characters fight to survive, while not knowing which of them is the killer.

The guests arrive on the island for a weekend party. They include: an ingénue, a suave adventurer, a military officer, a disapproving prude, a reckless playboy, an uncouth cop, a medical man and a respected judge, along with a cook and a butler. The one secret they have in common: They've all been suspected of causing a death in their lives. As the story unfolds, the killer will exact justice with deadly methods linked to a menacing nursery rhyme.
