Photo Flash: ALADDIN JR. Opens at On Pitch Performing Arts

OPPA! in Layton Utah opens the magical children's classic Disney's Aladdin Jr. January 11th with shows running through January 13th.

Are you ready to take a Magic Carpet Ride with OPPA! well... Disney's Aladdin Jr. is full of all the magic and wonderment that we all remember and is completely performed by 20 of Layton's MOST TALENTED KIDS!

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney's Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.

The stage version at OPPA! stars an amazing cast; Terran Nagel (Genie), Tage Wilkerson (Aladdin), Emory Joe Hopkin (Jasmine), Jacob Tousley (Sultan), Tyler Broadbent (Jafar) and a large cast of children who have been working on this show as their semester project! Through our children's classes we not only teach, and help kids grow in the arts, we also produce a main stage show so the children can put into action everything they have learned.

Disney's Aladdin Jr is directed by Catherine Washburn with assistant directing and choreography from Candra Young. "Being able to work with these amazingly talented kids has been such a blast for us," said Candra, she continues "Not only is this show magical but I have seen the kids grow and become better artists during their semester here at OPPA!"
