Lighthouse Guild's Vocal Ensemble Spreads Holiday Cheer During One-Day Caroling Tour In Manhattan

Lighthouse Guild's Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School vocal ensemble celebrated the holidays as they went caroling uptown, downtown and all-around Manhattan on Wednesday, December 13. The Music School's vocal ensemble includes student vocalists who are blind or visually impaired as well as faculty and volunteers.

The one-day caroling tour included stops at Manhattan Borough President's Office-Gale Brewer, One Centre Street, NY Harbor Healthcare Lobby, 423 East 23rd St., Indoor Lobby, 1285 Avenue of the Americas, and closing the tour at Lighthouse Guild Headquarters, 250 West 64th street.

Lighthouse Guild's Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School is a celebrated community music school with 130 students ranging in age from five to ninety-five and is dedicated to helping people pursue music in the context of living with challenges posed by vision loss. Since its founding in 1913, the Music School has embodied a unique role as the prime location for quality music instruction serving students with vision loss.

D'Agostino Greenberg Music School are made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature; and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Councils.
