Photo Flash: ELF THE MUSICAL's 'Buddy' Unveils Biggest Rice Krispies Treat in NYC at Madison Square Garden

Today, Buddy the Elf unveiled the biggest Rice Krispies Treat sculpture in NYC to celebrate the return of ELF THE MUSICAL to the Theater at Madison Square Garden, December 13-29, 2017. Scroll down for photos!
Chefs from The Institute of Culinary Education handcrafted a larger-than-life replica of Buddy the Elf made out of Rice Krispies Treats. Following the event, the structure was donated to the New York City Department of Homeless Services, a partner organization of the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Standing almost 10 feet tall, it took nearly 500 hours for the chefs from the Institute of Culinary Education to create this structure. The structure included Nearly 300 pounds of Rice Krispies Treats, 15 lbs. of edible glitter, 76 lbs. of icing, 70 lbs. of chocolate and 50 lbs. of fondant.
