Chris Thorpe's new adaptation of this classic text is a modern, gutsy, epic version staged as a rock concert. Check out a first look at the show below!
Directed by rising star Justin Audibert, this is basically Lord of the Rings meets Mad Max, or Beowulf for Game of Thrones generation, it is rock concert, it is a vicious and brutal battle, it is heavy metal.
Performed by Debbie Korley as the eponymous heroine, alongside a lone rock guitarist (Danny Saul) this is Beowulf for today performed in front of a wall of Marshall amps. It is heavy, it is raw, it is Beowulf, slayer of Grendel.
