In this colorfully imaginative tale of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, lovers, Amazon women, and mystical fairies share the stage of this production set in Trinidad & Tobago's Carnival. The audience becomes part of the cast as they are taken through an enchanted forest upon a magical night revealing star-crossed lovers, magical fairies, and a troupe. All before the Carnival celebration on the Duke and Duchess' wedding day.

With puppets designed by Scott Ludwig, scenic design by Kevin August Landesman, costumes by Rachael Heiman, lighting by Kevin Myrick, and sound design by True Siller, the production has been designed to put the audience "in the middle of the action," says director Sherri Young. "I wanted this to be a culturally vibrant production. One that incorporates the richness of Shakespeare's language but places it within the cultural rhythms of the West Indies."

Featuring Jourdán Olivier-Verdé (Theseus and Oberon), Emily T. Phillips (Hippolyta and Titania), Jarrett Holley (Egeus and Peter Quince), Antonette Bracks (Hermia), Ryan Marchand (Lysander), Jon-David Randle (Demetrius), Paige Mayes (Helena), ShawnJ West (Bottom), Charlotte Christien (Snug), Gabriel A.
