American Players Theatre will perform CRYANO DE BERGERAC, a funny, poetic romance. The show follows Cryano, a soldier who is in love with Roxane, though she is in love with Christian. However, Roxane is also promised in marriage to a different man, De Guiche. Roxane begs Cryano to protect Christian, who has been assigned to his platoon, while Christians begs Cryano to help him win over Roxane. The events that ensue prompt the question: does love lie truly in the eyes or in the soul?
CRYANO DE BERGERAC was written by Edmond Rostand, and was adapted and directed by James DeVita runs at the Hill Theatre until October 6.
