Milwaukee Repertory Theater begins the 2017/18 Season with Souvenir, a charming musical comedy beginning performances September 8 - November 5 in the Stackner Cabaret. Directed by Milwaukee Native Laura Braza (Grounded), Souvenir stars Marguerite Willbanks Beauty and the Beast) as Florence Foster Jenkins and Jack Forbes Wilson (Liberace!) as Cosme? McMoon.

Souvenir is a story of eccentric Manhattan socialite Florence Foster Jenkins who once declared, often and loudly, but rarely on key. Her recitals brought her a legion of die-hard fans, and she capped her improbable career with a Carnegie Hall concert that famously sold out in two hours. Her story was recently told in an Oscar-nominated film starring Meryl Streep.

Souvenir begins performances September 8 and runs through November 5, 2017 in the Stackner Cabaret. Tickets can be purchased online at www.MilwaukeeRep.com, by phone at 414-224-9490 or in person at the Ticket Office (108 E. Wells Street).
