It was a grand weekend opening for the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point, NJ with two, sold-out performances by Tony nominee Andrea McArdle. There was a Saturday evening red carpet event, followed by a 7:30 performance and a grand party at Fitzpatrick's Steak House in Somers Point. BroadwayWorld has photos from the festivities below!
This was the first in a two-weekend Gala Opening for the newly renovated Gateway Playhouse at 738 Bay Ave., Somers Point, which has been closed for more than a decade.
The next events are this weekend when the Shaken Not Stirred Players present "Broadway By Request," where the audience chooses the songs to be sung by a cast of 12 professional singers.
