Step 1 Theatre Project's premiere of , A CRISIS CALLED NEW YORK by Alisha Espinosa, opened to raves from a packed audience at the FRIGID Festival.

Latina wordsmith, Alisha Espinosa shares her thoughts in a collection of five, intimate ten-minute plays about the city suffering from sleep-deprivation! Benjamin Abraham directs a razor-sharp ensemble of young artists including Brent Shultz, Danielle Patlingrao, Hannah Karpenko, Jordan Schroeder, Kat Moreno, Kristi Stout, Michael Mena, and Tony Curtis. Produced by Jazmyn Arroyo and Janelle Zapata, CRISIS includes clever and powerful music by Gabe Valle and witty choreography by Olivia Rubano.
