All-Star LineUp Launches Black History Month at Christ Church Cathedral
Songs of Freedom, an annual concert celebrating Black History Month will be hosted at Christ Church Cathedral this year on Saturday, February 3rd at 7:30pm. Inaugurated 12 years ago by Marcus Mosely and his colleagues, it is a rich recognition and expression, in music and words, of black culture in our city. Featured artists will include blues legend and Juno Award winner Jim Byrnes, the “seriously spiritual gospel trio” the Sojourners, award-winning spoken word artist Jillian Christmas, and the dynamic Marcus Mosely Ensemble.
Christ Church Cathedral is at 690 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC.
