Broadway's biggest night will be back in 2025! The Tony Awards, Broadway's most beloved tradition, returns in June, honoring theater professionals for distinguished achievement in the 2024/2025 Broadway season. What can you expect this time around? We've got the scoop!
The 78th Annual Tony Awards will return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8, 2025. This will mark the first time the awards have been hosted at Radio City Music Hall since 2022. 2025 will also mark the 21st Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall, which has hosted the ceremony more than any other venue. The ceremony will be broadcasting live to both coasts, 8-11pm LIVE ET/5– 8pm LIVE PT on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

Nominations for the 2025 Tony Awards will be announced on Thursday, May 1 2025.
The Nominating Committee attends all productions during the Broadway season and meets on the date designated by the Administration Committee to determine, by vote, the Tony Award nominees for that season. The Tony Awards eligibility window for the 2024-2025 season is Friday, April 26, 2024 through Sunday, April 27, 2025 for all Broadway productions which meet all eligibility requirements. Learn about the first round of eligibility rulings.
