The company behind the national sell-out success Fresher the Musical have teamed up with performers from Musicality, the stars of TV's Don't Stop Believing, to present Wild West End, a deliciously dark musical comedy revue.

The show follows a struggling musical theatre writer in a razor-witted satire of some of the greatest musicals of all time. Meeting recognisable characters along the way, our writer discovers that Musical Theatre is not all that it’s cracked up to be.

Book writer Matt Leventhall said: "Our lyricists are both outstanding comedians in their own right: Andrew Doyle is the holder of the 2010 Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Award and Ed Clarke is a touring maestro from the East Midlands – we’ve really enjoyed collaborating with them."

Producer Adam Paulden said: "We’ve been producing musicals for a few years now and found that it’s very easy to get lost in the strange world of musical theatre. Because of this, we wanted to hold a satiric mirror up to the whole business. Knowing musical theatre audiences so well, we’ve put together something which we know they’ll love, whilst at the same time making it accessible to less hard-core musical theatre fans.”
