There is Violence and There is Righteous Violence and There is Death or, The Born-Again Crow follows Beth, a grocery store clerk grappling with life’s challenges after a tumultuous week that leads her to a suburban retreat at her mother’s home. Written by Caleigh Crow and directed by Jessica Carmichael, the play explores themes of identity and resistance, showcasing Beth's transformative encounter with a talking crow that reignites her internal strength. The production critically examines the impacts of systemic oppression, particularly on marginalized individuals, and infuses humor into its poignant narrative. The show runs from March 9 to March 29, 2025, at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre.
