Buddies in Bad Times Theatre will open its 46th season with Roberto Zucco, a neo-noir play by Bernard-Marie Koltès, translated by Martin Crimp. Directed by ted witzel, the production features a talented cast including Jakob Ehman, Samantha Brown, Fiona Highet, Kwaku Okyere, Oyin Oladejo, and Daniel MacIvor. Set in 1989 France, this intense work explores the criminal underworld while offering a critique of capitalism and family values, blending violence with dark humor. The creative team includes notable designers Michelle Tracey and Logan Raju Cracknell, promising a boundary-pushing theatrical experience.
