This spring, Orange County School of the Arts is inviting aspiring young artists from near and far to experience its quality arts instruction from the comfort of their own homes. Reimagined for distance-learning, the school’s community engagement program, CSArts Academy, is back for Spring Classes with a new Virtual Saturday Series.

ArtsRock will present Eddie Izzard in a global online conversation, streaming live, Friday, February 12th.  Much-loved actor and comedian, Eddie Izzard, who recently changed her pronouns, talks  about her life, work and dreams with Peabody Award-winning Host, Elliott Forrest, WQXR, NY.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is presenting a Valentine’s Day Cabaret, Kindred Spirits, on Thursday, February 11 at 7:30 pm on Zoom. This collection of songs about love in all its variety is a pairing of musical performance and video taken by the singers and edited by director Laura Ekstrand. The performance will be followed by an online talkback with the artists.

The Shed will present Fighting Dark, a new audio tour and film by artist and storyteller Kamau Ware (Founder, Black Gotham Experience). This two-part project features an online audio tour and a short film that explores Manhattan and Brooklyn’s 19th-century history of racial violence and resilience. 

The University of Wolverhampton is presenting Friday afternoon Zoom panels featuring musical theatre performers and writers as part of LGBT History Month. On Friday 5th February at 4pm, Dr. James Lovelock will be joined by Layton Williams (Everybody's Talking About Jamie), Alex Thomas-Smith (Bat Out Of Hell) and Will Wilhelm (Oklahoma!).

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the cast and streaming dates for Pete ’n’ Keely, a musical comedy about a divorced singing duo who reunite for a television special in 1968, packed with jazzy standards, torch songs, comedic showpieces, and tender sentiment.

Fosters Theatrical Artist Residency has  announced their free virtual Spring Residency for playwrights, directors, and actors from April 18th-24th, 2021. In the inaugural Spring Residency, Fosters will support one playwright, one director, and up to six actors as they more fully examine the playwright's new theatrical work.

Music of the Baroque is continuing its revised 50th anniversary season in February with Double Trouble-Bach, Vivaldi, & More, co-directed by Kathleen Brauer and Kevin Case. The Music of the Baroque Orchestra bands together for a lively and driving program of Baroque instrumental works.

The Town Hall will present a special streaming concert event with music icon Judy Collins as she recreates her legendary 1964 New York City concert hall debut. Collins filmed the show onstage at The Town Hall and will be streamed on February 12 at 8pm EST. 

The Al Hirschfeld Foundation is celebrating Black History Month with its latest online exhibition, Amplified Dignity: Black Dancers Drawn by Hirschfeld. Through March 13, the exhibition features Hirschfeld's reflections of legendary 20th Century artists including Sammy Davis Jr., Josephine Baker, Nicholas Brothers, Bunny Briggs, and more.

The Gay Divorcees, a band of real-life queer divorcees, will present 1-855-GAY-DIVO, an album of songs streamed over the toll-free number, 1-855-GAY-DIVO, through the end of February. Led by composer Ethan Philbrick, The Gay Divorcees are an ensemble of nine queer artists of various disciplines who came together during the pandemic.

Dance Theatre of Harlem announced today a new slate of digital performances as part of its online streaming series, DTH On Demand, and events, including its annual Founders’ Week celebration, throughout February, the nation’s month to officially and proudly honor Black History.

Broadway On Demand has announced that due to popular demand, the online world premiere of The Play with Rocky Bleier, an intimate portrait of famed Pittsburgh Steeler, four-time Super Bowl Champion and wounded warrior, Rocky Bleier will extend its streaming through Super Bowl Sunday, this Sunday, February 7, 2021.

 The Wilbury Theatre Group will present the world premiere of The Race by Mark Binder, directed by Brien Lang.  This challenging new play, done in an emerging new performance medium, examines the common, and sometimes uncommon, obstacles of a high-pressure corporate interview dance in the Zoom era.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its award-winning New Works Series on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 at 7PM EST, featuring excerpts from the new musicals The Lesson and Nothing To See Here.
