The Tony Awards has announced the line-up of performances for the 66th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th. The evening, which will be packed with more entertainment than ever before, will feature performances by 2012 Tony Nominated Musicals including: Evita featuring Ricky Martin and Elena Roger; Follies featuring Tony nominated actor Danny Burstein; The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess featuring Tony nominees Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis and David Alan Grier; Jesus Christ Superstar featuring Tony nominee Josh Young; Leap of Faith featuring Raul Esparza; Newsies, featuring Tony nominated actor Jeremy Jordan; Nice Work If You Can Get It featuring Matthew Broderick and Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara; and Once featuring Tony nominees Steve Kazee, Cristin Milioti and Elizabeth A. Davis. The evening will also include performances by Tony nominated Plays, such as: End of the Rainbow with Tony nominated actress Tracie Bennett; One Man, Two Guvnors with Tony nominated actor James Corden and Peter and the Starcatcher featuring Tony nominees Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger. The show will also feature a performance with Corbin Bleu and the cast of Godspell and Ghost The Musical featuring Bryce Pinkham, Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman.

Broadway Beacon Awards Honor Nick Jonas, Christie Brinkley & More Tonight, 6/4

Inside Broadway's 2012 Broadway Beacon Awards will be held at 6:00PM tonight, June 4th, 2012 at the Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Broadway Hotel in the heart of Times Square at 145 West 44th Street. The evening will honor How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying star and singer/songwriter Nick Jonas, model, philanthropist and Chicago star Christie Brinkley (currently starring on Broadway before joining the national tour), I.A.T.S.E. President James J. Claffey, Jr., and The Millennium Broadway Hotel for their longstanding contributions to Times Square and the Broadway community. The evening, which begins with a cocktail hour, will be hosted by FOX5 reporter Julie Chang. The awards ceremony will begin at 7:30pm.

The winners of the second annual Toronto Theatre Critics' Awards are in, and BWW is thrilled to bring its readers the entire list. Stand-outs include The Toronto Fringe hit Kim's Convenience (now playing for a second time this season at Soulpepper) and Atomic Vaudeville's Ride the Cyclone. The awards were determined by critics from The Globe and Mail (J. Kelly Nestruck), The Grid (Martin Morrow), National Post (Robert Cushman), NOW Magazine (Glenn Sumi) and the Toronto Star (Richard Ouzounian).

Jan Buttram's LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE swept the recent 6th Annual Ab*ie Award ceremony garnering seven of the eight awards. Voted outstanding play, LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE also took bows for outstanding male actor (Peter Brouwer) and direction, Kate Bushmann. Outstanding design awards went to Andrew Lu (set), Travis McHale (lighting), Catherine Siracusa and Sidney Levitt (co-costume design), and David M. Lawson (sound). Neil Patrick Harris will return as the host of the 66th Annual Tony Awards Telecast, which will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, Sunday, June 10, 2012 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The awards show, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been a part of the CBS family since 1978. This will be the second year that the show will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre.

The 68th annual THEATRE WORLD AWARDS, which will take place on Tuesday, June 5th at 2 pm at The Belasco Theatre, 111 West 44th Street, NYC., will include special performances by Broadway favorites Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael Cerveris, Howard McGillin and Stephanie Umoh. The by-invitation-only ceremony will present Theatre World Awards to 12 actors for their Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performances during the 2011-2012 theatrical season. The event also includes presentation of the 4th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence. This year The Theatre World Awards will have ASL interpretation.
