Yale School of Drama is a graduate professional conservatory for theatre training in every discipline of the art form: acting, design (sets, costumes, lighting, projection, and sound), directing, dramaturgy and dramatic criticism, playwriting, stage management, technical design and production, and theater management.
The School operates in unique partnership with the Tony Award-winning Yale Repertory Theatre. Faculty are distinguished for both professional accomplishments and dedication to teaching; students are admitted based on talent and potential for a career in the professional theatre; graduates of the School are known for their accomplishments on the legitimate stage, in film and television, and a variety of other creative fields.

Tony Winning Set Designer Eugene Lee Passes Away

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Tony Winner Eugene Lee has passed away. Lee won the Tony Award for Best Set Design in 2004 for Wicked. He was also nominated for a Tony Award for Ragtime. He also served as scenic designer for the original productions of Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd, and Seussical.
