Welcome to the School of Music at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Spread across two campuses, Brownsville and Edinburg, The School of Music is comprised of highly motivated, talented students and a caring, dedicated, outstanding music faculty.
We provide a student-centered, nurturing environment with very high standards, a place where dedicated musicians thrive and grow. Our programs and curricula are designed to help prepare students for a professional career in music, and as such, we have tried to prepare a challenging, yet nurturing environment for our students.
