We are one department, but our theatre and dance students are able to immerse themselves in their individual programs of study through performance spaces and opportunities not just for actors and dancers, but also for our scenic, costume, and lighting designers, aspiring teachers, and directors and choreographers. At USC, you can learn almost anything about the world of theatre and dance performance.
The theatre and dance programs boast talented faculty, as well as visiting guest artists and alumni working professionally in all facets of the theatre and dance arts.

Trustus Theatre, in a partnership with The League of Women Voters Columbia Area, is celebrating the 2020 Women's Vote Centennial by producing a live-streamed reading of Charlotte Perkins Gilman's 1911 activist play, Something to Vote For. Join the theatre online for this one-night-only event on Wednesday, August 26, at 7pm at trustus.org.
