Award-winning SF contemporary chamber group Ensemble for These Times has announced the winners of its 2024 Call for Scores for Solo Piano. The works chosen will be performed by E4TT emerita pianist extraordinaire, Dale Tsang on a solo recital in the group's 17th Home Season, the second such solo piano Call for Scores.

Trumpeter Antoine Drye is set to release his new album 'Retreat To Beauty'. After five years, New Orleans based drummer/composer Jon Sheckler has announced the release of HIGHWAY 27. Following his critically acclaimed 2018 album Cityscapes, Jon went through a series of changes. During the pandemic, Jon moved from Brooklyn to New Orleans and enrolled at the University of New Orleans where he added to his impressive resume.

The Creative Co-Lab, in partnership with The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, is proud to announce casting for the showcase production of sTrapped, a new play by Arelia Johnson & Award-winning playwright Bryan-Keyth Wilson. Wilson is set to direct the piece, which follows seven strangers as they navigate conversations surrounding race, intimacy, trauma, sex, and sexual identity.
