The Hartt School Dance Division presents the Spring Senior Dance Concert, “Tri·Fecta”. Performances are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday March 8th, 9th, and 10th at 7:30pm EST. All three shows will be held at The Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation Theater in the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford CT 06112. 

Acclaimed trombonist, producer and NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis has been appointed the 2022-23 Artist-in-Residence for the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz Studies at the University of Hartford's Hartt School.

My Idea, the duo comprised of best friends Lily Konigsberg (Palberta) and Nate Amos (Water From Your Eyes) share “Crutch,” the new single from their upcoming debut album CRY MFER. CRY MFER, and “Crutch” specifically, exist as a document of Konigsberg and Amos’ collective breaking point, after recording the album they both decided to quit drinking.

Ms. Stroud has been on faculty at the Martha Graham School, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, SUNY Purchase and the University of Hartford. She was a Principal Soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company for eleven years. She has danced with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet, the road company of Your Arms Too Short to Box with God, the Universal Studios film production of The Wiz, and as a guest artist with Katherine Dunham and the Gemini Dance Company.

The University of Hartford's Hartt School presents “Steadfast” the Fall Senior Dance Concert. Performances are Friday, October 24, 2020 at 7:30pm ET and Saturday, October 25, 2020 at 2:00pm ET and 7:30pm ET.

Kristin Huffman, Broadway veteran (Company: 'Sarah' flute sax and piccolo in the John Doyle production) is also a professor at the University of Hartford, Hartt school. She is the artistic director and founder of The New Paradigm Theatre (www.nptheatre.org) and produces musicals and educational events.
