The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA) held its 2022-2023 Annual Board of Trustees Meeting in the Community Room of the Dayton Metro Library's Main branch in downtown Dayton on the afternoon of June 15, 2023. Board of Trustees President Ed Tomme and DPAA President & CEO Patrick Nugent presented the report to approximately 55 stakeholders.

Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA) continues its celebration of the Ballet's illustrious legacy with an 85th Diamond Anniversary repertory program. Paying homage to its founders, Miss Josephine, and Miss Hermene Schwarz, the program reflects, Dayton Ballet Artistic Director Karen Russo Burke's mission to include more female choreographers in the Ballet's repertory.

DPAA Announces Medical Leave For Artistic Director Neal Gittleman

The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance has announced that Neal Gittleman, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, is on medical leave to recuperate from a surgical procedure. Associate Conductor Patrick Reynolds will conduct the orchestra throughout Gittleman's recovery. Gittleman is expected to return to the podium in early spring.

Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago announces the first instalment of its 2022–23 Lieder Lounge recital series, My Sister's Keeper: Dunbar Edition, which will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Ganz Hall at Roosevelt University beginning at 7:30pm. A second performance will be presented in partnership with the Chicago Music Association on November 20, 2022 at 4pm, held at the South Shore Cultural Center.
