The UCO Department of Dance is an award-winning program that emphasizes a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences with training in technique, movement analysis, teaching methodology and dance history. - Offers the only BA in Dance Education in Oklahoma - Maintains extensive Arts Outreach program including performances for K-12 schools throughout Oklahoma, at-risk schools, senior centers and regional festivals and conferences - Trains students to be proficient in modern dance, ballet and jazz - Succeeds in placing graduates in the field of dance as performers, teachers, choreographers and studio owners
