In SCAD production studios and theaters, performing arts students seize roles in sitcoms, films, plays, musicals, TV shows, and immersive themed experiences, or find jobs in professional productions via the SCAD Casting Office. Through it all, students are led by professors with impressive credentials — accomplished actors, directors, and casting directors at major studios and networks — and connect with iconic Hollywood stars at SCAD signature events celebrating the best of film, television, and streaming each year.

After a nationwide search, The Theater Offensive has announced theater and film producer, talent manager, and LGBTQIA+ rights advocate Giselle Byrd as its new executive director. The appointment makes Byrd the first Black trans woman to lead a regional theater company in the United States.
