On Easter Sunday, April 17, Christopher Munce returns to Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage under the auspices of MidAmerica Productions. The last time he performed at Carnegie Hall with MidAmerica, he was a high school junior singing in the choir. This time, he will be making his Carnegie Hall conducting debut during the second concert of MidAmerica Productions' 39th season.

On Easter Sunday, April 17, Seán Boulware will return to Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage under the auspices of MidAmerica Productions to conduct Mark Hayes' Gloria. Joining him onstage are vocal soloists Sydney Kucine, soprano; Jenni Bank, mezzo-soprano; Joseph Sacchi, tenor; and Erik Earl Larsen, baritone.

San Francisco North Bay theater artists gathered Monday night at 3 Disciples Brewing in downtown Santa Rosa for the Fourth Annual Marquee Theater Journalists Association Awards. Eighteen awards were given to local theatre artists and productions whose nominations were culled from the sixty-eight Sonoma County productions attended by members from September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019.

The Association recognized the exemplary work of Sonoma County theater artists with nominations in eighteen categories that were culled from the sixty-eight productions attended by MTJA members. The Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation, the non-profit that owns and operates Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, announced today that it has confirmed two new board members. The Foundation welcomes Lisa Ann Hilario, attorney with Spaulding McCullough & Tansil, LLP, and Anna Lobdell Hudson, Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking of Exchange Bank.

The San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle (SFBATCC) held its 42nd Annual Excellence in Theatre Awards Gala on Monday, March 26th at San Francisco's historic Victoria Theatre. Over 300 members of the community gathered as 67 production awards for theatre produced in 2017 and four Special Awards were presented. The evening was hosted by Walter Mayes with musical entertainment provided by The Lost Trio.
