City Theatre Austin Presents Steve Martin's PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE, June 24 - July 17

If comedies are your favorite choice of theatre entertainment, then look no further! City Theatre Austin will kick-off the 2022 summer season with Steve Martin's madcap stage show Picasso at the Lapin Agile, winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play. Directed by Artistic Director Andy Berkovsky, the production runs June 24 – July 17 at Trinity Street Playhouse.

LA LAVADORA by RYAN M. LUEVANO has won the first annual Full Circle Players' New Works Play Festival. As the winner he will receive a cash prize and his play will receive a fully staged production as part of the theatre company's 2022 fall season.

LA LAVADORA by RYAN M. LUEVANO has been selected as one of five finalists for Full Circle Players' 2021 New Works Play Festival. The festival will present a virtual reading of the play in May 2021. Two of the five finalists will receive a fully staged performance as part of the theatre company's 2022-2023 season.

From the brightest minds in the field of Mexican cultural studies to the brightest stars in the world of Latin entertainment, the Musco Center for the Art's Fourth Annual Heartbeat of Mexico Festival will offer a greatly expanded cast and calendar on the Chapman University campus in Orange over Memorial Weekend, May 23-26, 2019. In association with Chapman University's Latinx Staff & Faculty Forum, Heartbeat of Mexico will include an afternoon of free Ballet Folklorico inside historic Memorial Hall, a free day-long family-friendly outdoor celebration with music, dance, crafts for kids and food, and two nights of music headliners: superstar duo Jesse & Joy on Thursday, May 23 and Lupillo Rivera performing with Mariachi on Sunday, May 26.
