Want to explore the ways that theater has changed the world? And how it expresses and reflects human culture, relationships and behavior?
The Theater Studies concentration focuses on the theory, history, and practice of theater as a part of the larger context of art and culture. Coursework will not only focus on theater, but also study other arts including visual arts and film, to better understand the various elements and forms of representation that influence and affect the creation and reception of the interdisciplinary art of theater.

Ben Neill to Present FANTINI FUTURO in NYC This Week

On Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 7pm, composer and instrumentalist Ben Neill will present his immersive electronic opera Fantini Futuro at Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, located at 261 Mott Street in New York. This one night only performance also acts as the premiere of the opera's full presentation, as well as a benefit for restoring the church's historic organs.

Bordetsky-William, scheduled for publication on December 1, 2020 by Tailwinds Press, tells the story of three generations of Russian-American Jews journeying back and forth, throughout the twentieth century, between America and Russia, searching for some kind of home and, of course, finding something altogether different.
