The Performing Arts Department at Pace University is part of the Dyson College of the Arts and Sciences. The department offers a balanced program of strong academics alongside conservatory style training that prepares our graduates to enter the workplace as knowledgeable, artists devoted to the integrity, pursuit, and preservation of their craft.
Our 4-year undergraduate program puts you in the heart of New York City, a worldwide center for the performing arts. Dedicated to providing the finest possible professional training, we offer programs in Acting, Musical Theater, Directing, and Design and Technical Theater. With more than 50 productions a year, rigorous studio teaching by working professionals, and access to the professional world, our Performing Arts Department is a center of excellence in undergraduate education.

Zelig Williams, a Columbia South Carolina native and former Broadway performer, has been reported missing. Williams, 28, made his Broadway debut in 2016 in the cast of Hamilton and later worked on Hugh Jackman’s world tour in 2019.

A weeklong professional development initiative for early-career theater artists, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2024 will take place July 15-22, 2024 at the Pace University Lower Manhattan campus.

Special Programs During KODACHROME Announced at Vivid Stage

Vivid Stage will present the New Jersey premiere of Kodachrome, a play about love, nostalgia, the seasons and how we learn to say goodbye, written by Adam Szymkowicz, from April 18 through 28. During the run of the production, there will be a lobby art exhibit, free talkbacks, and a Friends and Family Night, in addition to other special events.
