Deserted Films returns to the Historic Camelot Theatre (at the Palm Springs Cultural Center) Jan 21 - Feb 25 for a fun, winter-themed film series on the big screen culminating in a special screening of Dr. Zhivago (1965)… the first film to screen at the Camelot when it opened!

Little Blue Cap Productions will present The Grandmothers Grimm written by Emily Ingram and directed by Katie Fitz, Molly Revenson, ELi Sibley, Emma Szuba, & KJ Wilkerson. The production will be presented as part of the 2023 National Women's Theatre Festival through the WTFRINGE Directing Lab at the North Carolina State University's Frank Thompson Hall with performances on Saturday, June 24 at 4:30pm and Sunday, June 25 at 8:30pm.

Redhouse Arts Center Executive Director Samara Hannah, who began her career with Redhouse in 2014, announced to the Board of Directors that she has accepted the position of Executive Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations at North Carolina State University, beginning in February 2023 and will soon be leaving her post at Redhouse.

Composer Lisa Bielawa To Have Major Premieres In DC, New York and Cambridge This March And April

Composer, producer, vocalist and Rome Prize-winner Lisa Bielawa will have three major new works premiered in Washington, DC (Washington National Cathedral, March 13), New York (Carnegie Hall, March 25), and the Boston area (First Cambridge Church, April 2), performed by the Cathedral Choral Society and Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra (ACO), and the Radcliffe Choral Society with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), respectively.
Patrick Holcomb Receives ASCAP Foundation Rudolf Nissim Prize for 'Persephone'

Paul Williams, President of The ASCAP Foundation, has announced that Patrick Holcomb is named recipient of the 42nd ASCAP Foundation Rudolf Nissim Prize. The prize is awarded for Persephone, a seven and a half-minute work for orchestra. Selected by a panel of conductors, Holcomb is awarded a prize of $5,000.
