The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

In an awards ceremony last night, April 20, 2022 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis announced the top three university and college jazz band winners and section awards in the second annual Jack Rudin Jazz Championship.

Jazz at Lincoln Center has announced the second annual Jack Rudin Jazz Championship, a two-day invitational competition featuring ensembles from ten of the most well-regarded university jazz programs in the country.

A panel of the same name featured Founder of Black Music History Library Jenzia Burgos; two-time GRAMMY Award winner Patti LaBelle; NPR Reporter and Editor Sidney Madden; GRAMMY Award-winning, GRAMMY Legend Awards® and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Smokey Robinson; and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Raphael Saadiq.

Through the Mangrove Tunnels, performed by the JACK Quartet with pianist Steven Beck and drummer Russell Lacy, is a 45-minute work inspired by Lee's experiences growing up exploring the swamps and bayous of Florida.
