Paul Taylor Dance Foundation (PTDF) announces the launch of "Paul Taylor: Celebrate the Dancemaker," a multi-year worldwide celebration of Paul Taylor's astonishing legacy as well as his vision of a future for modern dance. Led by Mr. Taylor's chosen successor, Artistic Director Michael Novak, this celebration will focus on three components - domestic and international touring of the Paul Taylor Dance Company (PTDC) and Taylor 2 entitled "The Celebration Tour"; worldwide licensing of Mr. Taylor's dances; and the Paul Taylor American Modern Dance (PTAMD) 2019 New York Season at Lincoln Center.
The Sheldon Names Peter Palermo New Executive Director

The Sheldon Arts Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Palermo as their new executive director. Palermo was selected through an extensive national search process, led by global search firm DHR International and a committee of Sheldon board members and staff. Current Executive Director Paul Reuter will serve as senior executive director during a six-month transition period, beginning December 3, 2018. Reuter announced his retirement, after 24 years as executive director of The Sheldon, in June of this year.
